Most drivers are now aware that electric vehicles offer pretty impressive performance and acceleration, however, one American EV manufacturer has taken this to a new level. 

Mullen Automotive recently unveiled the ultra-high-performance Mullen FIVE RS EV Crossover. The car may look fairly normal, but its powertrain can provide a top speed of 200 mph and acceleration from 0-60 mph in under 2 seconds. This is an all-wheel drive platform which produces the equivalent of 1,100 horsepower. 

Because of the extreme performance of the car, those interested in buying it are not actually allowed to take it for a test drive, but instead are offered the chance to sit alongside a professional race car driver to experience the drive.
