Delphi Technologies has announced the introduction of key steering and suspension components for the Tesla Model S opening up new repair potential for independent garages. The launch is comprised of several new parts, including control arms, link stabilisers, tie rods, and ball joints.

The launch makes available aftermarket parts designed to the latest manufacturer specifications with impressive engineering testing performance. Delphi Technologies says its suspension arms show better strength and performance under safety tests compared to the OE equivalent.

These new parts offer a considerable service and repair opportunity for workshops looking to embrace newer electric vehicles, with the Tesla Model S now firmly established as one of the most popular electric cars on the road.

Delphi Technologies offers aftermarket solutions with a clear focus on two of the most important factors of vehicle ownership; vehicle safety and driver experience. These new Tesla Model S parts have shown impressive performance and safety testing during development. The heat-treatment in the design of Delphi Technologies control arm body shows better strength and fatigue life than that of the OEM design.

Additionally, the tested push and pull force of the ball stud indicates the Delphi Technologies design also has superior strength compared to the OEM component. Delphi says these market-leading results denote optimum durability of these safety-centric components during braking and steering.

Delphi Technologies Steering and Suspension Components for the Tesla Model S are now available from stockist nationwide.
