Workshop waste and recycling specialist Soltec have introduced a new service for the collection of scrap alternators and starter motors. The company says the service offers motor trade businesses the chance to turn their unwanted components into cash and is quick and convenient to set up.

Soltec MD Michael Corcoran says it is a service that will especially appeal to businesses specialising in the repair of rotating electrical components, as well as dismantlers and some garages and bodyshops. He comments, “We will deliver a special recycling bag to a workshop and once this bag is full you simply ring us and we will arrange collection from anywhere in Ireland. On collection we pay a good price per tonne direct into the business bank account. All the workshop needs to do is call us with their details and we will be delighted to send out a bag and set up their account.”

In addition to paying the workshop or dismantler a good price for their scrap starters and alternators, Soltec will also make a €10 donation to its charity partners for every tonne collected.

The new scrap starter motor and alternator collection service is just one of many waste disposal and recycling services on offer from Soltec. These include the supply and collection of hazboxes, solvent supply and recycling, oil waste disposal, parts cleaning equipment and environmental compliance advice and support.

For more information and to set your business up for hassle free scrap starter motor and alternator collection please call Soltec (Ireland) on 044-933-5133 or visit www.soltec.ie
