Somora Motor Parts has highlighted the comprehensive availability it can offer in Thermal and Efficiency system replacement components for new energy vehicles.

Electric, Hybrid, and Plug-in Hybrid vehicles accounted for over 45% of new car sales in Ireland in 2024 and effective thermal management is essential for the smooth running of these vehicles and the comfort of the occupants. This means this is very much a growing area of business opportunity for the independent aftermarket and Nissens is the perfect partner for both motor factors and garages.

The Nissans Thermal and Efficiency system replacement component range features over 1000 Nissens original quality components covering some 4200 OE part numbers, from 40 different vehicle manufacturers. A further 160 items will be added to this range in the coming months.

The over-all range is divided into sub categories as follows:
  • Thermal Management—Climate control: This includes; 93 blowers, 50 compressors, 166 condensers, 36 evaporators, 42 expansion valves, 38 receiver driers, 62 heaters and 23 pressure sensors.
  • Thermal Management—Engine cooling; 202 radiators, 38 water pumps, 74 expansion pumps, 74 expansion tanks, 31 fans, 82 oil coolers and 25 temperature sensors.
  • Engine Efficiency; 41 intercoolers, 13 turbos, 4 oil feed pipes, 8 EGR system components.
As well as a comprehensive product range, Nissens also offers lots of technical information and back-up to make repairs on new energy vehicles easier. The company has particular expertise with advanced high voltage systems and provides easy access to installation guides, technical and troubleshooting tips and training.

Nissens products are distributed in Ireland by Somora Motor Parts and are available from stockists nationwide.
