Hertz Ireland has made a significant investment in its fleet of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles with the recent addition of 10 new Vito Tourer PRO 8-seater vans.

Delivered in an assortment of colours, the new units have been supplied on a six-month contract hire basis.

According to Eamonn Boland, Managing Director at Hertz Ireland, the new vehicles will be based out of the Hertz depot in Dublin Airport and will be ‘primarily used to facilitate increased rental demands as the Summer period approaches’.

Each vehicle is equipped with seating for 8 persons and EASY-ENTRY function to enable comfortable access to the second seat row. Other features include comfort suspension, automatic transmission, heated power exterior mirrors, multifunction steering wheel with trip computer and Audio 15 infotainment system.

Described by Mercedes-Benz as an ‘astonishingly versatile, mid-capacity van’, standard safety features on all Vito Tourer models include Attention Assist to monitor the driver¹s condition and Crosswind Assist to eliminate the effects of wind gusts. Tyre pressure monitoring is also standard, so too are twin driver and passenger airbags.
