Cork’s CAB Motors has selected Cork Senior Hurler Alan Cadogan to join their award-winning team as brand ambassador for 2017.

This dynamic right corner forward has had an extremely busy start to his season, bagging a hat-trick of goals for UCC in their game against Ulster University in January and scoring a last minute, match winning goal for Cork in the Munster Senior Hurling League final against Limerick just four days later.

CAB Motors are very conscious of Alan’s busy and energetic schedule and want to make sure he is never late to one of his numerous training sessions or all-important matches this year, and as such have provided him with a fantastic new Ford motor.

While Alan will be enjoying an injection of added horsepower, fans of the CAB Motors Facebook page, will be treated to post-match analysis of all the Cork Senior Hurling Team clashes this season courtesy of none other than this Cork star himself. So, make sure to keep an eye out for these video analysis on the CAB Motors Facebook page in the coming weeks and months.

Jerry Crowley, CAB Motors Marketing Manager, had this to say about Alan’s appointment “We are absolutely delighted to have Alan on board as a brand ambassador. Our entire team have loved to watch Alan grow on the pitch for this club and county, and knew he was someone who we wanted to work with. He is a marvellous player with a tenacious work ethic and we are all very much looking forward to seeing how he and Cork get on in this year’s Munster and hopefully All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship.”

CAB Motors were recently honoured at the SIMI Irish Motor Industry Awards when they picked up the coveted title of Franchised Sales Operation of the Year. This award acknowledged CAB Motors constant drive for excellence and best practice in their category over the last 12 months.

As Munster’s largest Ford Dealer CAB Motors have had their doors open since 1925 and offer the full range of new Ford cars as well as commercial and used vehicles. They have deep roots within Cork’s community, which is just further exhibited by their support of Cork Hurler Alan Cadogan and provide sponsorship to many local sports teams and charities, including donating a car to St. Vincent de Paul every year for the past four years in order to help raise much needed funds.
