Toyota says that in most instances bodyshops across the country are getting a reply from their local Toyota Dealer within 60 minutes and in the majority of instances they can go back to their customer with the good news that their car can be repaired. This is backed  up by the statistics that show that since 2017 over 80% of applications for the Write Off Avoidance Programme have been approved.

The scheme offers significant benefits to bodyshops in terms of increased repair volume, as well as savings for the insurer. For motorists the programme is also proving to be a mobility lifeline for drivers who have been involved in an accident during these unprecedented times. Personal mobility is especially vital at present and with used car values on the rise many drivers are faced with a big financial headache if they have to replace a written off vehicle, with the shortfall between an insurance valuation and the market value of a similar car often significant. The Write Off Avoidance Programme can avoid this and get them back on the road faster, in their own car with minimal inconvenience.
