The SIMI Trade Expo held at the Red Cow Hotel on Wednesday October 22nd proved to be a great success. Visitors came from far and wide to attend the event with overall numbers far exceeding most pre-event expectations.

Some thirty exhibitors reported a steady flow of high calibre trade visitors throughout the afternoon and evening with great interest shown in the huge variety products and services on display.

The event was attended by most of the leading Irish Aftermarket suppliers and throughout the show there was an emphasis on meeting the challenges set by new vehicle technology and exploring new aftermarket business opportunities.

This was the first national event of this kind held for many years and the excellent attendance and positive feedback from both the exhibitors and the hundreds of garage, bodyshop and motor factor representatives that attended provided a good indication of a growing sense of optimism in the Irish aftermarket.
