DuPont Refinish has launched CC6400 Standard VOC Clear, a two-component clear based on low emission resin technology. The product is formulated from acrylic copolymers and the unique DuPont patented 'star' polymer technology.

CC6400 Standard VOC Clear has been specially designed to provide ease-of-use during two-coat application and should be used with a specific Performance Agent, AZ9100, to guarantee a flawless application and excellent appearance. It has also been developed to be used in conjunction with the DuPont Refinish XK Activator range to enhance drying speeds in differing conditions.

Suitable for spot, panel and overall repair, CC6400 comes in one and five litre pack sizes and is said to have excellent resistance properties. Lindsey Swaine, DuPont Refinish brand marketing coordinator says, “This new clear brings together very easy application with excellent sagging resistance. It combines efficient drying performance with a smooth and high-build finish, offering refinishers a clear that can be used on almost every application. Our R&D department worked hard to create this extremely efficient product to further boost bodyshops' productivity."
