KMG ProWorx launches ultra-lightweight filler

KMG ProWorx has extended its range of premium body fillers by introducing an ultra-lightweight filler. Called Pearl, the new filler is ideal for use as a finishing product or for deeper panel damage. KMG say Pearl can be used on multiple types of substrate including aluminium, galvanised steel and GRP.

The filler is smooth in application and neutral in colour which means there are none of the associated issues with regards to primer coverage. Pearl also offers outstanding sandability to allow faster and easier sanding and shaping so that a high quality finish can be achieved in less time. The unique Pearl formulation also means that although it is very light, it will still build exceptionally well because of its structure.

Pearl has been tested on various drying systems with excellent results and was found to perform exceptionally well with the latest technologies such as Robotica and Symach accelerated drying, something that some fillers fail to do.

Peter Shortt, National Sales Manager, KMG ProWorx commented, "This is the next generation in filler technology to combat the problems and challenges in modern repairs, so it’s ultra-lightweight, extremely smooth in application, very neutral in colour and has the ability to deep fill as well as be a finishing product. Because it has been designed and tested for modern drying techniques this product will go hand in glove to reduce key-to-key times and maximise profitability of the vehicle repair.”
