INDUCTOR Mini-Pad opens up a new range of job possibilities

Huge numbers of garages and bodyshops across Ireland have now switched on to the benefits of induction heating in the workshop as a safe and convenient alternative to expensive and potentially dangerous Oxy-Acetylene equipment. The Mini-Ductor Venom and Mini-Ductor II induction heating tools from Inductor Innovations are the tools of choice for many users as they have a multitude of uses around the workshop and are very quick and easy to use.But as well as being the solution to the release of any number of seized blots and fastenings, through the use of a simple accessory bodyshops and garages can open up a whole new range of uses.

The INDUCTOR Mini-Pad is simple heating attachment for the Mini-Ductor induction heating tool that allows the user to easily remove decals, graphics, pinstripes and badges from vehicle bodywork. It also offers the possibility of easily and safely removing side mouldings from a vehicle and it can even be used to stress relieve dents for easy paintless dent removal.

The attachment simply twists on to the Mini-Ductor and will heat up in seconds. Unlike traditional heating methods, the invisible heat created by induction heating uses high frequency magnetic fields to pass through non-metallic objects. Once these magnetic fields reach the metal surface they heat the metal only, leaving the non-metallic parts cooler. The result is easy release and the adhesive stays with the cooler part. This not only saves time and money, but also reduces potential health and safety risks from using harmful solvents and also makes a job much cleaner.
