An Irish company was making a big impact in the bodyshop section of the recent Garage and Bodyshop Event at the NEC. Albatross Spray Booths, is based in Co. Clare and it had on display its innovative Mobile Spraybooth.

The booth is designed by John Timoney, a well known figure in booth installation in Ireland and developed in partnership with Metaltech Engineering Ltd.

The booth offers great shop flexibility and can reduce job times and costs for bodyshop owners. It features built in heaters, a 4 stage air filtration system and excellent lighting. Early testing at Ennis Body Repair, found it could achieve 98% savings in energy costs, as well as boosting efficiency and reducing job times.

It allows repair shops to turn around smaller spray painting jobs quickly and efficiently, allowing users to treat only the specific area of the vehicle that needs painting. 8 heavy duty castors allow for easy manoeuvrability of the paint booth around the paint shop. It is available in single and three phase power options.
