Laser Tools has introduced a new engine timing kit specifically designed for MG Motors 1.5 petrol engines. 


Developed in-house by Laser Tools, and produced at their manufacturing facility in Sheffield, this kit enables the safe removal and replacement of the camshaft timing chain, ensuring accurate engine timing for optimal performance and reliability.

The six-piece kit that has been carefully engineered to lock the crank and camshafts of MG Motors 1.5 petrol engines in their timed positions. Designed for MG3 models produced between 2013 and 2022, as well as ZS models, manufactured between 2017 and 2022, with engine applications 15S4C and 15S4U. It ensures precise timing alignment for these specific engine types.

The kit (part number 8678), includes a crankshaft locking pin together with camshaft locking pins and bridge. The 8678 is equivalent to OEM TEN00002 and TEN00004, assuring customers of its adherence to original equipment manufacturer standards and specifications. To ensure optimal usage and safety, it is essential to utilise this kit in conjunction with the instructions provided by the OEM.
