The most popular car colour shades to feature on new cars registered in 2020 has been revealed in the latest SIMI Motorstats release.

With overall sales down by some 25% to just 88324 units, almost every colour shade was down in volume terms compared to 2019 with only orange and some two tone colours showing any increase.

The top selling colour was once again grey holding steady at 37% of the market followed by black at just under 18%. White/Ivory was in third place at just over 15%, with blue slightly up at 14.82%  and Red/Maroon slightly down at 10.69%.
