One of the world's largest automotive parts distributors has named Gates "Supplier of the Year, 2013".

Gates president of EMEA, Giorgio Brusco, received the "Pushing back the frontiers" award from AD International president Olivier Roux, who says the award recognises Gates outstanding performance as judged by ADI's individual partners throughout Europe.

ADI sources parts from 40 major suppliers of leading brands worldwide and distributes them to partners such as the Independent Motor Factors Association (IFA) in the UK.

Gates vice president (sales & marketing) Peter Verdonkt thanked ADI's individual partners for their confidence and expressed his trust in the continued development of the partnership. He said, "This award is an invitation to Gates to help your businesses grow and to move forward. In partnership, we will become greater together. There is room for improvement in almost every country and Gates is ready and waiting to help."
