BMW AG approves Car-O-Liner CTR9 welder

The Car-O-Liner CTR9 resistance spot welder has received official approval from BMW AG for global use. Car-O-Liner says the certification validates it commitment to delivering superior collision repair capabilities worldwide.


The fully automatic welder has earned approval after being subjected to rigorous testing by BMW, confirming its ability to precisely replicate the welding standards used in BMW workshops.

There are four available version of the CTR9 approved by BMW, in various voltages, as well as a range of accessories. 

Newly available for the system is also 52211 Upgrade kit BMW software CTR9, which includes:
  • BMW software Production 5.2 with updated approved welding parameter for BMW 16mm Cap
  • Approved Firmware, WPB 2.9.102 / WPB2 5.0.55 or higher
  • 10 pcs 16mm BMW Caps
  • 1 pc Tip Dresser for BMW 16mm Cap

This software is compatible with CTR9 units featuring MMI Android and MMI WinCE.
