Battery specialist Yuasa has got a new sponsorship agreement with the Wicklow Senior Hurling team off to a winning start, with the team producing a Division 2B Hurling League Final victory over Derry. Running out for the first time in their kit featuring the Yusa logo, the Wicklow GAA team took the match 1-9 to 0-8, the result sealing promotion to Division 2A.

James Douglas, Marketing and Product Manager for Yuasa Batteries commented, “It was only last month that Yuasa confirmed the sponsorship of Wicklow Hurling so to see the senior team win their first game at the end of the league season is fantastic. The latest sponsorship partnership builds on the company’s successful activities in many fields of motorsport. This has included a high profile battery testing campaign and a series of very well attended training evenings around the country.
