TRICO Group, LLC, has acquired the global wiper products division of Federal-Mogul Motorparts.

This acquisition includes manufacturing plants in Europe, South America and China. The move means the TRICO Group, a manufacturer of TRICO wiper systems, now adds two more strong brands to the wiper portfolio in the shape of ANCO branded and Champion branded wiper blade products.

Kevin O’Dowd, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for TRICO Group commented, “As the company continues to rapidly expand and strengthen its global capabilities, we look forward to supporting our customers with both the TRICO and Champion wiper brands in the European aftermarket.”

Adam Richards, TRICO’s European Managing Director added, “At this time, to ensure responsive customer service, Federal-Mogul distribution centres will continue to supply the complete line of Champion wiper products. To further fortify our customer service, Martin Hendricks, a seasoned automotive OE and aftermarket professional, has been appointed as Executive Director, International Operations. Martin’s focus is the strengthening and growth of our international group operations.”
