Top teams look to NGK to spark new F1 season The Ferrari F14T will be one of many cars on this year's grid relying on NGK Spark Plugs

NGK Spark Plugs will once again be at the centre of the race for the 2014 FIA Formula 1 World Championship.


The company is supplying its racing spark plugs for a number of teams who will fight for the constructors and drivers championships over the course of the 19-race season which starts in Melbourne on Sunday, March 16th.

NGK has been involved in F1 since 1964 and its racing spark plugs are used by top teams that include McLaren Mercedes, Ferrari and Mercedes-Benz.

Tim Ward, Deputy General Manager, Sales & Marketing, NGK Spark Plugs said, “We are delighted to once again be involved with F1 which is such a popular sport with many of our customers. They like us are looking forward to what should be a fantastic new season as the teams challenge for the title with new riles in place.
