Team P R Reilly has sponsored the refurbishment of classroom desks at a National School using its Lechler refinish paint brand. 

The company was approached by the Parent’s Association at North Bay National School in Kilbarrack, close to the Team P R Reilly HQ, to sponsor a project to redecorate desks in their classrooms.  The Team P R Reilly Refinish Department were delighted to be involved, helped with any application queries and donated quantities of green, red and yellow paint from the Lechler range.

The desks were stripped, frames painted and new desk tops added to make them look brand new.  Painting the frames with Lechler instead of having to buy new ones saved a considerable amount of budget for the school and meant that the all children’s desks could be upgraded and not just a few new ones bought. It was a big job but with plenty of enthusiastic volunteers involved, it was completed in time for the school September term. The “work in progress” and final transformation story board is featured in the school’s latest newsletter and on their website.
