MAM Software has reported that it has helped suspension specialist SUPLEX to substantially develop its aftermarket business during the past year. SUPLEX has been adding data the MAM’s Autocat+ system making its product lines visible to Autocat+ users. The company has also made use of Automate and the MAM Make Model Index (MMI) to ensure customers have access to the very latest accurate data.

SUPLEX supplies the Irish and UK independent aftermarkets with coil-springs and pre-assembled strut kits for passenger car and light commercial vehicles. Stephan Fortner, Product Manager at SUPLEX says, “With Autocat+, there is absolutely no dilution of data and no data loss. A high level of detail is an inherent part of the SUPLEX range and everything is retained and presented to the customer.”

Automate Online, which includes the MAM MMI, is a catalogue data management tool which enables component suppliers to enhance product data and publish it to the MAM Autocat+ parts catalogue. It allows users to update and amend their own product data which is published to Autocat+ on a frequent basis.

Stephan comments, “SUPLEX releases new part numbers every week and Automate allows us to add data to Autocat+ almost instantly, a huge advantage over the more traditional paper catalogue or product news bulletin.”

MAM Software’s Tony Mason adds, “We’re delighted that SUPLEX has reported tangible benefits from uploading product data to Autocat+. The software has been designed with an intuitive user interface to ensure suppliers can gain the widest reach possible with their product data. We always strive to offer all of our customers the highest level of support in order for them to derive the maximum benefit from our products.”

MAM products and services are distributed in Ireland by RNH. For more information call 01-626-0155 or visit www.rnh.ie
