Worn, damaged or rounded-off nuts or bolts can be difficult to remove and resorting to brut force can often be dangerous and damage components. Laser Tools has introduced a new solution as part of its expanding HGV range. Damaged nut or bolt removers (part number 6337) are designed to securely grip and bite into the damaged nut resulting in speedy removal.

The set of six ¾" drive sockets (27mm, 30mm, 32mm, 33mm, 34mm and 36mm) are manufactured from high strength SCM440 grade alloy steel with a HRC45-48 hardness rating to withstand repeated use in tough workshop conditions. The sockets are surface-finished with manganese phosphate and supplied in a handy case for neat storage in the tool box.

The tool also has a neat solution to getting a firmly-wedged nut back out of the socket once it is removed with a hard chrome plated punch bar to drive the nut out of the socket.

This set is a useful addition to the HGV workshop and available now Laser Tools stockist.
