Serfac Limited, one of Ireland’s longest established and most successful independent automotive parts distributors, is to enter a new business era in 2024 with a move to a new state-of-the art headquarters and distribution centre.

Established in 1978, the company has consistently grown in line with the developing Irish automotive aftermarket, allowing its dedicated  team to meet the needs of the market through a nationwide network of motor factor customers. Growth in recent years has been especially strong, with the company forecasting additional growth in sales volume into the future.

To meet this rising demand, the company requires increased capacity and in January 2024, will be moving to a new 7,000 sq metres premises, which as well as a massive new warehouse and impressive logistics facilities, also includes increased office space.

“The additional space will allow us to consolidate our 3 existing warehouses, providing improved logistical efficiencies in picking, packing and shipping and thus an enhanced level of customer service”, said Gillian Fanning of Serfac.  “The expansion will also mean increased stock availability and diversity for our customers and facilitate product range expansion to include both range extensions and new product groups.”

Underlining the company’s commitment to sustainability, the new facility has been specially designed to reduce its carbon footprint. This has included the installation of highly energy efficient heating, ventilation and lighting systems.

The new building will become operational in January 2024.
