Saint-Gobain has announced that it has acquired the UK-based company Farécla Products, one of the largest polishing compounds manufacturers in the world.


Founded in 1952, Farécla Products manufactures surface finishing products and solutions for consumer and industrial uses, including automotive markets.

Saint-Gobain says the acquisition of Farécla Products will enable it to complete its surface finishing product range while at the same time bringing its technical expertise to engineer new solutions in the automotive as well as other polishing/finishing markets.
