Braking specialist Brembo says that the introduction of its Brembo Xtra brake pads has perfectly complemented its range of Brembo Xtra and Max discs to provide the most enthusiastic road drivers with the sports driving performance they demand, without compromising on comfort and durability during daily road use.

Brembo Xtra brake pads are fast growing in popularity with drivers rights across Ireland and have been developed to maximize the advantages offered by Brembo Xtra and Max discs. They are manufactured by Brembo using the BRM X L01 material made from more than 30 different components that have been developed by its advanced research laboratory.

Compared to the compound used for the standard pads that are equivalent to the original, this new solution features a high friction coefficient that reflects a more decisive and stable braking, both at low as well as high temperatures. Brembo says this means greater driving comfort and an improved brake pedal precision, without compromising on the product's mileage, as well as low disc wear. A special scorching treatment also reduces fading.

As a leading OE manufacturer, Brembo says that its Xtra brake pads and Xtra and Max drilled and slotted discs are especially well suited to not only to compact, medium and sports models, but also SUV’s.

To highlight the X-factor of these products, Brembo has presented them in new packaging, while the Brembo logo is laser-engraved on the friction material.
