Gillian Fanning of Serfac Limited has been awarded the TEMOT Women in the Aftermarket Award 2025, presented at the recent TEMOT International Annual Shareholders & Suppliers Summit in Paris. The event marked a milestone year for TEMOT International AG, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.  Serfac is the exclusive Irish shareholder in the global trading group.

Commenting on the award, Gillian noted the ongoing gender imbalance in the sector, “Women currently represent only around 15% of the aftermarket workforce, despite clear evidence that gender diversity positively impacts business performance.  I’m encouraged by the increasing number of initiatives aimed at creating a more inclusive and representative industry. The automotive aftermarket is a vibrant, fast-moving sector and I would wholeheartedly encourage women to consider it as a career path.”

Reflecting on her role at Serfac, Gillian added, “Our continued success is a testament to the exceptional dedication and professionalism of our team in Dublin. I’m proud to work alongside such committed colleagues whose hard work underpins everything we do.”

The award recognises individuals who demonstrate leadership, excellence and a commitment to driving progress within the global automotive aftermarket.
