The Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association (OESAA) has announced that renowned braking system specialist, Brembo, has become a member of its organisation.

Brembo is acknowledged as an innovator of brake disc technology, supplying high-performance braking systems to vehicle manufacturers, whether that be in the passenger, commercial vehicle or motorcycle parc. The company is also steeped in motorsport pedigree, with Brembo providing brake systems to teams around the world and playing an integral part in winning more than 500 championships, in both two and four-wheel formulas.

Today, Brembo operates in 14 countries on three continents, with 25 production and business sites, and employs more than 11,000 highly-skilled individuals, with almost 10% of those engineers or product specialists in research & development.

OESAA Chairman, Nigel Morgan, spoke of his delight at Brembo becoming the latest brand to join the organisation’s mission in advocating original equipment products and testing to the automotive aftermarket. He said, “Brembo is a name that is synonymous with quality and is a brand that technicians and followers of motorsport, in particular, will instantly recognise. Brakes are a safety-critical component of any vehicle, so Brembo’s commitment to OESAA is one that is fully endorsed by the membership and strengthens our continuing message about importance of genuine quality – I am delighted with Brembo’s desire to join us.”
