The Niterra sponsored Great Britain Speedway team narrowly missed out on the World championship after being pipped to the title by Poland at the Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup Final in Wroclaw.

After an epic wheel-to-wheel battle with Great Britain‘s Robert Lambert, Poland’s Maciej Janowski dived under his Speedway GP rival to snatch the all-important second place behind Australia’s Max Fricke in heat 20 to earn the Poles a record-breaking ninth gold medal.
