Two new system servicing equipment units were the stars of the show at the Liqui Moly stand at Automechanika Birmingham. As well as its comprehensive range of oils and additives the German manufacturer was highlighting the opportunities presented by its Gear Tronic II and JetClean Tronic II devices.

The new Gear Tronic II system is designed to make automatic transmission fluid changes much easier bringing them into the operating sphere of many more garages. The system tackles the tricky problem of simultaneously emptying and filling the transmission with fluid automatically. It features intuitive touchscreen operation and has a vehicle database which shows which transmission oil the vehicle needs and how large the filling quantity is. This simplifies the work routine and protects against faults and expensive claims. The Gear Tronic II also allows cleaning and care additives to be integrated into the service.

JetClean Tronic II is another new device this time for giving a vehicle engine and fuel system a thorough cleaning. Most engines suffer from performance loss due to carbon build-up and other internal deposits. These can be quickly and thoroughly removed with the JetClean Tronic II. The automatic system uses special cleaning additives and simply connects to the injection or intake system. This means thorough cleaning can be achieved without the need for disassembly. The process restores original performance, means the service life of the injection system is extended and the danger of engine problems is reduced.

The unit is attached to the car battery and does not require an external power supply. This makes it fully portable and suitable for use at a fleet customer’s premises. The system is also suitable for commercial vehicles, motorcycles and boats.
