Laser Tools has made another important addition to the professional mechanic’s toolbox with the introduction of a new Ratchet Flare Nut Wrench Set. 

The new set (part number 8874) features six crowfoot-style wrenches, in 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 17mm and 19mm sizes. These versatile crowfoot wrenches are suitable for use on compression joint fittings, brake pipes, hydraulic pipes and wired sensors.

A crowfoot wrench allows vertical access to fasteners when access is limited as well as allowing fitment around a brake or fuel pipe or exhaust sensor. Laser say that these are crowfoot wrenches with a difference as they are used with a 3/8" square drive extension bar and feature a spring-loaded quick snap design, allowing them to stay in the open position when placing around the pipe or wiring. This, together with their ratcheting action making them ideal for use in confined areas.

The wrenches are manufactured from stainless steel and presented in an EVA foam tray (37 x 140 x 197mm) for convenient tool-tray storage.
