One of J&S Automotive’s longest serving staff members retired last week and the J&S team marked the event with a special retirement party. Pat Pyne has been a popular figure with-in the company as well as very well liked and respected by motor factors and suppliers in the aftermarket.


He joined J&S when the company was based on Dublin’s North strand in 1991. Initial he was employed on a six week stock take project, but actually ended up staying with the company for 26 years, during which time it went from being a local parts supply business, to one of the leading forces in Irish automotive parts distribution. Pat has been one of the key unsung, behind the scenes, personnel in this development. Over the years he has been involved in almost every  aspect of the company  from setting up the accounts system, to purchasing and more recently formulating the  warehouse picking formula for J&S’s three distribution centres in Ulster, Munster and Leinster.

Pat is now looking forward to his well earned retirement and all the J&S team and his many friends in other companies would like to wish him and his wife Veronica the very best for the future.
