Dayco’s impressive list of awards, endorsements and commendations continues to grow, with the latest edition coming as the company’s Mexico facility was recognised by Ford Motor Company for outstanding quality and performance regarding the supply of Dayco drive system components.

In a letter of commendation from Eduardo Villegas, Ford’s Chihuahua Engine Plant Manager, Dayco, received notification that it had been selected as one of Ford’s Best Managed Companies and recognised as having a perfect quality record for 2019, with zero product defects.

“Vehicle manufacturers such as Ford demand the highest standards from their supply partners, so we are delighted to receive notification that our products have not only achieved Ford’s expectations, but positioned Dayco in the top end of its supply chain,” said Michael Weiss, the company’s President of Global Powertrain Operations. He added, “Eduardo’s letter stated that we should be rightfully proud of the prestige and honour the award confers to Dayco, and indeed we are. This is only achievable by applying strict quality control procedures and with the hard work and commitment of the dedicated employees that make up the Dayco family. So, with this commendation, we acknowledge them and appreciate their incredible ongoing contribution.”
