Engine products and drive systems supplier, Dayco, will appear at Automechanika Birmingham for the first time with an emphasis on pioneering original equipment power transmission design solutions. It will also be a key contributor to an informative technical seminar.

Steve Carolan, Dayco’s national sales manager explains, “Although much is spoken about the obvious requirement for electronic diagnostic training, there is also still a need to inform technicians regarding the mechanical side of vehicle repair and maintenance, particularly with power transmission products such as the primary/timing and auxiliary drive systems. The seminar, which concentrates on timing and auxiliary belt system design and troubleshooting, is to be presented by Glen Goldstone, Dayco’s technical manager and contains information on the design and function of the latest drive systems and the issues workshops might come across with these systems and how to overcome them.”

Steve adds, “On the stand in hall 20 (20J100), the company will be displaying a variety of its OE quality components including its revolutionary belt-in-oil chain replacement solution, water pumps and torsional vibration dampers, as well as its familiar front engine auxiliary drive components and timing belt kits. The Dayco team will be on hand throughout the event to answer any questions that visitors might raise concerning either the presentation, or the company’s wide range of products.
