Visitors to the NGK Spark Plugs stand at the Saltex show held recently at the NEC were keen to get their hands on the company’s new 2017/2018 Horticultural Agricultural & Industrial Applications Catalogue. The NGK team were busy throughout the two-day event, which caters for the ground care, sports, amenities, estates and green space management sectors. 

Hundreds of visitors to NGK’s stand left with copies of the new catalogue which is packed full of spark plug and glow plug applications and technical information, plus details of NGK’s copper core technology and installation tips.

Many visitors also got the chance to test their golf skills on the company’s ‘Hole in One’ putting green, where they received a free NGK cap or hat if they were successful in obtaining a hole in one in three attempts.

NGK Spark Plugs Marketing Manager Mark Hallam said, “The horticultural sector is a growing market for NGK and our spark plugs’ fast heating makes them ideal for engines that often work in harsh conditions, consequently we received a lot of enquiries about our range.”

The company has been developing spark plug technology since the 1930s and manufactures plugs for every type of automotive engine, as well as for motorcycles, marine, horticultural, plant and many other applications.
