Ignition specialist NGK Spark Plugs will be highlighting its proud motorsport pedigree when it lines-up alongside the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers and teams at the 2018 Autosport International Show.


The company has helped some of the most famous Formula One, Rally and other four-wheel teams and drivers to numerous race victories and titles and will be exhibiting at the show at Birmingham’s NEC from January 11th-14th.

NGK is renowned for supplying original equipment spark plugs, glow plugs and NTK Lambda and other engine management sensors and at the show will feature Lee Cohen's 1700hp Ford Zephyr drag car on Stand 2850. The 16ft long vehicle, which is based on a 1955 model and fitted with eight B9ES NGK spark plugs, runs in the super pro class and has run a best time of 6.7 seconds at 203mph.

There will also be a ‘Game Pod’ racing simulator where visitors will compete daily to win a remote-controlled Ferrari 458 model car.
