NGK stand at the Autosport International show in the NEC has once again proved to be very popular,  attracting thousands of visitors throughout the event and also raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The MO70 Dragmower, believed to be the fastest lawnmower over 1/4 mile in the world, having completing the distance in just 9.49 seconds with a top speed of 115.53mph, was one of the star attractions on the stand.  It also featured a classic 1963 American Studebaker Lark car, together with a game pod where enthusiasts tested their driving skills on a track simulator with the fastest show participant winning an Xbox One.

The company also played host to a number of motorsport competitors it sponsors including British Speedway champion Charles Wright, ‘Queen of the Bikers’ Maria Costello, racing drivers Max Coates and Charlie Martin, plus the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team’s 2020 drivers Esapekka Lappi, Teemu Suninen and Gus Greensmith who signed autographs on the NGK stand.

Visitors to NGK stand also helped raise vital funds for a leading charity, with motorsport enthusiasts purchasing a range of NGK merchandise to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager, NGK Spark Plugs said, “Autosport International attracts thousands of motorsport fans and it was great to meet so many of them on our stand as well as some of the many motorsport competitors we support. I would like to thank everyone who bought NGK merchandise at the show and in doing so helped raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.”
