Laser Tools has released a range of safety tool lanyards plus accessories designed to clip onto belt or wrist and hold the chosen tool securely and stretch easily to provide unrestricted use.


The lanyards have a range of applications including working at height, machine assembly and maintenance. The use of safety tool lanyards helps to reduce damage and accidents, with the associated downtime and also means the tools is always easily at hand.

Laser part number 6873 is a two-hook lanyard supplied with a 4mm wire connector accessory; used to secure tools with holes. It extends to 120cm. Part number 6874 is a single hook lanyard with adjustable strap, particularly useful for securing cordless drills and similar. Again, the lanyard’s capacity is 4.5kg and it extends to 120cm.

Part number 6875 is a single hook lanyard with strap and accessories specifically designed to secure screwdrivers. The ring on the strap slides over the screwdriver shaft and is then securely clamped in place. The maximum diameter of the screwdriver blade that can be accommodated is 10mm, the capacity is 1kg and the lanyard extends to 143cm.

Part number 6976 is another two-hook design, this time with high strength zinc-alloy hooks, again supplied with a 4mm wire connector accessory used to secure tools with holes. The lanyard’s capacity is 4.5kg and it extends to 120cm. Lanyard 6877 features one high strength zinc-alloy hook and an adjustable strap suitable for securing cordless drills, hammers or larger screwdrivers. The lanyard’s capacity is 3kg and it also extends to 120cm.

Part number 6878 is a safety wrist-strap plus clip-on lanyard that is ideal for smaller. lighter tools; 6789 is a stronger version with metal D-hook on the wrist-strap and metal snap hook on the lanyard.
