febi has also issued some useful advice on the fitment of these products:

• Technicians should compare the locking wheel fastener with the original part before installation
• Locking wheel fasteners must engage with the hub with a minimum of 5.5 thread turns
• Do not use any electrical or compressed air tightening devices
• Always follow the tightening torque specifications of the vehicle manufacturer
• Check for unrestricted rotation of the wheels whilst the car is lifted
