DENSO injects new part numbers into Glow Plug range

DENSO has added nine new Glow Plugs into its extensive range just in time to meet the January demand surge. The company says the winter period contributes up to 80% of annual aftermarket glow plug sales, and the update should deliver further opportunities for workshops to take advantage of the peak season.

DENSO’s OE quality Glow plugs allows super-fast pre-heating, and extended post-heating from a cold start; reducing engine emissions and noise, while maintaining greater resistance to erosion.  This latest extension to DENSO’s range provides distributors with an even broader selection of Glow Plug part numbers, reaching a total of 144. With an additional 261 applications for several major vehicle manufacturers, including Ford, Nissan, Opel and Mazda, workshops are able to meet the growing demand for high quality Glow Plugs.

Nick Thomas, Product Manager at DENSO said, “The update ensures workshops and distributors will be able to provide the best Glow Plugs for customers wanting a high quality product under  the most extreme weather conditions. With winter well and truly underway, it’s imperative that we can deliver workshops and distributors with a cutting-edge service that can optimise their seasonal sales, and this update cements our comprehensive offering.”

The range extension brings DENSO’s comprehensive total Glow Plugs programme vehicle coverage to more than 7,700 applications.
