Corteco, the independent Automotive Aftermarket Division of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, has confirmed the acquisition of Auto Suppliers Limited (ASL), based in Kidderminster, UK.

ASL, a family owned business founded in 1988 by Terry Stevens, is an expert in the development of power steering sealing kits and components, including a special product range for classic vehicles fondly maintained by enthusiasts worldwide.

Speaking about the development Jason Meier, Chief Executive Officer of Corteco said, “This acquisition reaffirms our commitment to providing the aftermarket with the most comprehensive range of solutions tailored to our customers’ needs. Our joint expertise and technical know-how enables us to deliver advances in product innovation and technical excellence across a range of business processes, more efficiently, to a wider market.”

Corteco and ASL have long shared a close working relationship, making this acquisition a strategically healthy decision. ASL and Corteco customers will be kept informed about the progress of the integration process.

Reiner Martsfeld, Chief Commercial Officer of Corteco, added, “ASL has been given an enthusiastic welcome into the Corteco family and the integration process, which is being supported by all parties, is progressing very smoothly indeed. Customers of ASL and Corteco can look forward to the benefits of this collaboration.”
