Independent aftermarket brand, Comline Auto Parts has announced a major expansion of new references in its popular steering & suspension category. The new additions are complemented by an Augmented Reality (AR) campaign under the banner “Your New Reality”, which enables aftermarket customers to get up-close and personal with the brand’s steering & suspension parts.

As part of a dedicated focus on steering & suspension, Comline has added a raft of new parts, with each reference carefully selected to support aftermarket demand in Ireland.

This significant range expansion affirms Comline’s plan to grow its steering & suspension category by 35% in 2021. Damien Larkin, General Manager at Comline Ireland, states, “It is a bold target, but one to which we are entirely committed and we will make further significant additions to our range in the coming months. These references will cover a variety of popular makes and models in-line with our ‘all makes’ ethos and, notably, focus on the vehicles that matter most to our customers right across Europe.”

The brand has also invested in a cutting-edge AR solution which allows users to truly visualise Comline steering & suspension parts from the comfort of their workshop or office. This digital platform allows motor factors and technicians to view 3D visuals across a range of Comline steering & suspension components to get a first-hand appreciation for the product features. Mobile users can go fully AR and augment the part into their environment allowing for direct product comparison and a hugely engaging digital experience.

Comline says its steering & suspension products ensures complete piece of mind for the installing technician and motorist alike, with a 3-year (36,000 mile) warranty which comes on every steering & suspension reference.

Comline recognise the importance of using quality raw materials, components and ancillaries in the repair of this safety critical system, which is why all its steering & suspension parts are subjected to a robust and rigorous testing process. This guarantees that Comline products perform in the most extreme road and weather conditions and can withstand real-world temperatures from -40°C to 120°C.  The components also follow a stringent testing process which includes: Push/Pull-out load testing, Material testing, Fatigue and life cycle, Rotational torque, Bonding and hardness and Chamber testing, as well as 3 and 4 Axis testing on wishbones, bushes and ball joints and 900 hour of salt spray testing.

Ball joints, control arms, suspension bushes, stabiliser mountings, stabiliser links, tie rods, tie rod ends, top strut mounts, and suspension kits are all available to cover popular European, Japanese and Korean vehicles. Furthermore, Comline operates a comprehensive and fast-paced new-to-range development programme which will keep its steering & suspension range tuned to the needs of the Irish aftermarket. Comline is also keeping a close eye on the electric vehicle aftermarket to include these references in range where possible.
