Carcessories brand strength shines through adversity

At the start of 2020 Carcessories introduced some new and exciting brands to its impressive parts and accessories portfolio. Plans to roll these out throughout the year were put in serious jeopardy by the first COVID-19 lockdown, but despite the tough trading conditions each introduction has gone ahead with success.

Sales Director Greg Lonergan comments, “I am delighted to say that with support from customers, suppliers, and the great effort of our sales and marketing teams we have managed to surpass the targets set at the beginning of the year. It has been so encouraging to see the uptake of these new brands by our customers during an extremely difficult trading period.” He added, “For businesses to invest in new ranges during a time of uncertainty shows the commitment and bravery of their owners to drive forward even in the face of these uncertain times.”

Greg believes it is the strength and standing of both the new and existing brands that has been a key success factor this year as customers look for recognised names and high quality products. He says, “Carcessories are delighted to have renowned brands such as Turtle Wax, which has recently seen some important product additions, Slick 50, RainX, STP, Abracs, and most recently Town and Country seat covers added to our existing brands. These additions have helped us make the most out of this year and hopefully continue to provide a profitable revenue stream for our customers that have invested in them.”

Carcessories has also worked hard to ensure that excellent stocks are always available for these new lines and to provide support in-terms, display, merchandising and marketing.  The hope is that in 2021 the Carcessories team will be fully back on the road to provide additional training and support on all the brands for customers nationwide.
