bilstein group has unveiled the first images of its new distribution centre being developed at Markham Vale in the UK. The purpose built centre that will become the home of Ferdinand Bilstein UK’s new state of the art distribution centre. The 212,771 sq ft facility will create up to 400 new job opportunities. 


Established in Germany in 1844, the bilstein group, operates three high profile aftermarket brands, febi, SWAG and Blue Print. The new distribution centre will serve the UK and Ireland and is situated just off junction 29A of the M1 in Derbyshire.

The new facility will integrate distribution for the brands under one roof leading to improved services and economies of scale. Initial building was completed in January, with the technological developments and state of the art Witron system being installed over the first few months of 2017.

Paul Dodgson, Operations Director at Ferdinand Bilstein said, “We are excited about being part of this high profile development. Initial building has finished at the Markham Vale site and we look forward to seeing things progress. Markham Vale offers excellent transport links for our distribution requirements. The new relocation will allow us to expand our company further, offering new opportunities on a local and national scale.”
