The first AutoInform event to be held in Scotland was a major success according the organisers ADS and OESAA and received a very positive reaction from the delegates who attended.

Following the tried and tested format used at AutoInform Wolverhampton, which last year attracted over 400 professional mechanics, the event at the GTG Academy in Edinburgh proved that there is a strong desire among independent workshops in other areas to engage in high quality training.

As one of the founding members of OESAA, Schaeffler presented two 90 minute modules covering ‘E-Mobility’ and ‘Common Wheel Bearing and Belt System Fitment Problems’, as well as providing off-syllabus training in the award winning GearBOX transmission repair solution. Three stand-alone REPXPERT pods allowing visitors access and registration to the popular workshop knowledge website were also available.

Malcolm Short, Schaeffler Technical Services Manager said, “The quality and commitment of the everyone who attended AutoInform in Edinburgh was fantastic. The venues for both the training and the gala dinner were second to none, and the post-event comments we have received from the trainees has been extremely positive.”
