Bodyshop equipment specialist Car-O-liner has won a prestigious bodyshop award ahead of tough competition from other leading industry suppliers. The company picked up the Bodyshop Capital Equipment Supplier of the year 2021 at the Auto Body Professionals Club (ABP) Annual Convention, Night of Knights & Bodyshop Excellence Awards in November. 

Car-O-Liner won out ahead of other equipment suppliers such as GYS, Minden, Stanners and USI Italia.

Stuart Alexander, Managing Director, Car-O-Liner UK commented, “After being a runner up at these events in 2018 and 2019, it really is great to come back with a bang. This is a very tough category, from the initial point of contact with our customers to the after sales customer service, at each stage we go above and beyond to make sure we deliver excellence, and to be selected for this by them is not only an honour, but reassurance that our passion for continuous growth and improvement has paid off, I feel really humbled by their votes.” He added a “A big thank you to the Car-O-Liner team. This is not the first time for Car-O-Liner to win this prestigious award, the company also received it in 2015 and 2016, with sister company, Blackhawk, winning In 2017.

Meanwhile, Car-O-Liner has also re-emphasised its focus on the future of the industry by playing a key role at the Worldskills UK 2021 event held at Cardiff and Vale College in Wales. The company was a sponsor of the event and it its equipment and demonstration were, as ever, a popular attraction for visitors.
