Laser Tools is now offering a new design of impact driver, with the addition of a flexi-head handle to allow users to keep their hands out of harm’s way, while adding extra leverage to the action of the tool.

For seized fasteners, especially when countersunk, the traditional remedy has been an impact driver. However, using a normal driver in such a way often runs the risk of hand injury. The new Laser Driver (part number 7540) is a 4-piece 3/8"-drive tool designed for removing seized, corroded and over tightened fasteners. The user holds the handle tight against the fastener in the direction of turning. The hammer force is combined with the impact driver’s turning action. The handle also gives the user more control, allowing them to line up the tool precisely and with a sharp, careful tap with the hammer the screw is released.

The kit also comes with an air-hammer adaptor and combined with the flexi-head handle, this becomes a formidable tool for any workshop. Using the adapter will allow for the removal of stubborn bolts and fasteners with the extra power of the air hammer, a combination that is particularly suitable for suspension components.

The new impact driver kit is available from Laser Tools stockists.
