As part of its expanding HGV range, Laser Tools has introduced a new crankshaft rotator for some popular truck applications. It is designed to fit via the ring gear and the tool’s double gearing enables easy turning of the crankshaft for service and repair.

The tool, (Part number 7006) is suitable for Iveco truck models: Eurocargo, Cargo Eurotech and EuroStar. These suit engine models: 8040-25-45, 8060-25-45, 8460, 8260, 8280. 8210.42, 190.38 and 190.42.

The rotator is also available complete with spacer (part number 7007), which additionally fits Cargo 150E27R PR and FPR 320E27T, with engine models 8360.46 F3A and F3B. Equivalent to OEM 99360321.

The gear mechanism slides to suit different engine configurations and is then locked in place. Then the 22mm hex is used to drive the tool. Both tools are phosphate finished and manufactured from carbon steel to withstand repeated use in tough workshop conditions.

These are now available from Laser Tools stockists.
