The Car-O-Liner stand at Automechanika Frankfurt was its usual buzz of activity with the world premier of the company’s CTR9 Fully Automatic Spot Welder being the star attraction.

The CTR9 comes with a new light-weight transformer gun that features a 355° swivel handle and ergo-grip that enables a technician to take up a perfect working position on any job. The gun is supported by a telescopic arm in durable and lightweight extruded aluminium that can be easily adjusted both vertically and horizontally. It also features a compact power unit with a low centre of gravity offering excellent mobility and stability, while a 16,000-amp transformer and CANBUS communication help ensure a perfect weld every time.

The intelligent operating system of the CTR9 will automatically establishes required settings to ensure the proper weld nugget and an advanced quality control system monitors and adjusts the welder to guarantee the total energy input. The equipment can be upgraded using a USB port and a handy storage tray means all tools and accessories required can be easily at hand.

The unit can also feature the optional WeldLogger1 software which allows users to easily create work orders and document them in log files that can be printed as needed.
