Bosch automotive training centre MKW will be holding a training course on Diagnosis using the Oscilloscope / Operation and Signal Test Methods (VSTD9) on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th of September. A limited number of places are still available on the course.

This is the next recommended step in automotive diagnostic training development for anyone who has completed the VSE1 – Essential Test Procedures course.

The course is designed to provide attendees with invaluable skills in the utilisation of an oscilloscope for the diagnosis of faults. Automotive oscilloscopes are being increasingly utilised for the confirmation of faults and are now an essential piece of equipment for any progressive workshop.

The course covers:
  • Oscilloscope: Introduction
  • Display, Controls Adjustments & Settings
  • Connections and Test methods
  • Waveform interpretation & analysis
  • Typical Defective Signals
  • Typical applications and signal examples
  • Waveform display methods
It is recommended that those attending have complete course VSE 1 and are fully conversant with the electrical values of voltage, current, resistance and the use of a multi-meter.

For bookings and more information call Mark at MKW on 01-459-5266 or 087 6681248.
