Ballybofey AutoFactors in Co. Donegal has moved into to a brand new purpose built premises to signal a new and exciting phase in the company’s development.
The new facility is Navenny Road in Ballybofey, only around 100 metres from the previous location, but as owner Damien McElhinney explains, the all new set-up is a world away in terms of the space it can offer. He says, “Our old premises were bursting at the seams in terms of stock. We had reached and exceeded maximum capacity and in order to allow the business to grow we had to make a move.” He adds, “The new building offers twice the capacity of the old one and will allow us to carry a wider range and depth of stock and to further improve our service.”
The new building covers some 8000 sq ft and because it has been purpose designed for motor factor use this space is maximised by use of efficient new racking and a mezzanine floor. As Damien points out this will be a major plus point for trade customers. He comments, “The range of products on offer in the independent aftermarket is expanding on a daily basis and this includes many components that garages would normally assume are only available from a dealer. Our new building means we can hold more of these products in stock and available for immediate delivery. The new layout also means we can pick and despatch orders more quickly.”
As well as boost for trade customers the new building also features a very attractive retail area. Damien says, “The retail side of our business is important and in our new building we can have far more product on display in our attractive showroom area.”
The new premises are located on Navenny Road, Ballybofey. For more information call (074) 913 0741.
